Mag-iisyu ang Land Transportation Office o LTO ng Show Cause Order sa BMW Owners’ Society of Safe Riders o BOSS, organizer ng Boss Ironman Challenge Mindanao Cup 2026.
Ito ay dahil sa umano’y paglabag sa trapiko at paggamit ng illegal na blinkers, na naugnay sa mga aksidente sa event.
Ang nasabing impormasyon ay inilabas mismo ng LTO matapos ang isinagawang aktibidad.
Batay sa viral videos at ulat sa social media, may mga kalahok na nag-ooverspeed, hindi tumigil sa red lights, at hindi sumunod sa road signs.
Ang ilan sa mga banggaan ay naging malubha, kabilang na ang pagkamatay ng isang batang 7 taon.
May isa pang fatal na aksidente sa Kibawe, Bukidnon na iniimbestigahan pa.
Ayon kay LTO Chief Markus V. Lacanilao, “Ang kaligtasan sa kalsada ay hindi puwedeng ipagwalang-bahala.

Under Republic Act No. 4136, organizers have a legal and moral obligation to ensure compliance with traffic laws and prioritize safety for all. We will hold accountable those responsible, and this case sends a clear message: compliance is mandatory, and safety must be at the core of all event planning and execution.”
Ang mga organizer ng motor events ay may obligasyon na siguraduhing ligtas ang lahat.

Patuloy ang imbestigasyon ng LTO upang makalap ng kompletong ebidensya bago pormal na ma-isyu ang Show Cause Order.
